Tom Brierley completes the London Marathon
The Variety Children's Charity's prestigious award

Tom Brierley from Wilkinson Williams managed to complete the London Marathon for the Variety Club in 3hrs 58, which is slower than the time he hoped to achieve but was pleased to keep it below 4hrs! Congratulations to Tom!

Quote: “I was trucking along quite nicely until mile 20 and was on target for a time of circa 3hrs 35 when the ‘wall’ started to come into play and to say it was miserable is an understatement! Miles 22/23/24 were completed with pretty intense cramp and in a state of delirium before recomposing myself for the last mile and a bit..

Apart from that, it was a great day that I would thoroughly recommend to anyone. The atmosphere really is amazing. I would just like to thank everyone who came down to watch yesterday and as well those who have sponsored me. If you haven’t sponsored me as yet but would like to, it is still possible to at www.justgiving.com/TomLondonMarathon.”
